Saints look to continue their perfect start to the Premier League Cup group stages with a trip to Group F's other Category 2 academy side, Colchester United.

Dave Horseman's youngsters come into Saturday's contest after a dominant 4-0 win over Birmingham on Monday night at Staplewood.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan bagged a hat-trick - his seventh goal in three games - whilst Kamari Doyle scored an excellent free-kick as Saints made it two wins from two and top the group.

Colchester United are Group F's other Category 2 academy and play in the Premier League Professional Development League, where they are currently sat in eighth place in the 10-team division after 12 games.

They head into tomorrow's game after a 4-1 defeat on the road against Millwall in the league, which they followed up with victory in the Essex Senior Cup on penalties over Dagenham & Redbridge.

The U's did make the perfect start to their Premier League Cup campaign, however, beating Birmingham City 2-1 back in October thanks to late goals from Samson Uwandu and Kai Redgrave

Saints are top of Group F with six points from six after Monday night's comprehensive win.

Colchester are second in the group with three points, but they have only played one game - their opening day victory over Birmingham.

Everton host Birmingham this evening in the group's other game.

Tickets can be purchased online, through Colchester United's website, and are priced as follows:

Adults - £5

Concession - £3

"I would imagine they'll be a good, physical team, quite high-pressing and quick in transition." said Horseman ahead of his side's trip to Essex.

"They've got no first team game this weekend so there could be a few fringe players in, which is good for us.

"We're in a good space at the moment though, and playing at their stadium makes this a game we're looking forward to."
