Southampton defender Jake Vokins has completed a season-long loan move to National League outfit Woking.

The 22-year-old spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Ross County, making 20 Scottish Premier League appearances.

Having made his senior Saints debut in 2019, Vokins scored on his first full start in January 2020, netting in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield before a short loan spell with Sunderland in January 2021.

Beginning the current campaign with Dave Horseman’s B team, Vokins scored in last week’s 1-1 draw with Norwich in Premier League 2.

Now securing more senior experience, the full-back will spend the season with the Cardinals, who currently sit 11th in the National League table.

The club wishes Jake well for the upcoming season and looks forward to monitoring his progress at Kingfield Stadium.
