Date confirmed for semi-final tie
A date and time has been set for Southampton's Emirates FA Cup semi-final against Leicester City next month, which will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
Securing a spot in the last four of the competition with an emphatic 3-0 win over south coast rivals Bournemouth last weekend, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side will now face the Foxes at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 18th April, kicking off at 6.30pm BST.
Saints are yet to concede a goal in this season’s cup campaign and have reached the semi-final stage for just the second time in the last 18 seasons, last reaching the same stage in 2017/18 where they were eliminated by eventual champions Chelsea.
The originally scheduled Premier League match against Crystal Palace will be given a revised date as a result.
