Spurs welcome Saints in North London as they play their first game without Jose Mourinho at the helm.
Despite sitting seventh in a tightly contested Premier League, Tottenham have struggled to find consistent form over the course of the season and will be eager to pick up three points on Wednesday to keep their hopes for a top four position alive.
Spurs travel to Wembley this Sunday, April 25 for the EFL Cup final.
Saints saw their impressive FA Cup journey come to an end on Sunday as they fell to a slender 1-0 defeat to Leicester City at Wembley.
With attention now returning to the league, Ralph Hasenhüttl will be eager to extend the gap between Saints and eighteenth place Fulham.
Spurs are likely to be without England captain Harry Kane for the fixture, as an ankle problem rules him out for roughly three weeks.
With the EFL Cup final just days away, it’s likely Ryan Mason will rotate a number of players in the field.
Saints will be happy to see the return of Takumi Minamino, who was unable to feature in Sunday’s clash at Wembley as he was cup-tied.
Oriol Romeu and Will Smallbone remain long-term absentees, while Michael Obafemi has returned to first-team training but is unlikely to feature in the starting eleven.

: "The challenge now is to go to Tottenham on Wednesday and be a team that is able to take something.
We lost heavily to them in the first game so want to show that we are a lot better now."
ONES TO WATCH
Gareth Bale: With leading goal scorer Harry Kane now side-lined it’s likely Gareth Bale could see a return to the side.
Bale was somewhat out of favour with former boss Jose Mourinho, but under Ryan Mason’s direction it’s likely he’ll return against his former side.
Danny Ings: Not only is Ings Saints’ leading goal scorer, he has been involved in six goals in his last five games against Spurs (G:5, A:1).
