Saints will be looking to bounce back from defeat as Blackburn make the long trip down to the south coast for Barclays Women’s Championship action.

Blackburn currently sit tenth in the table, with three losses and two draws in their last five games, including a 3-1 defeat to bottom-of-the-table Coventry United.

Saints’ aforementioned defeat came to Charlton Athletic at The Valley, where an off-colour performance saw Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side leave frustrated with the 1-0 scoreline.

With both sides looking to put wrongs right, and with a return to home support as an extra boost, Sunday’s meeting is set to be an entertaining one.

Saints will be in the iconic red and white strip to take on Rovers.

A wet and windy Ewood Park played host to the previous meeting between these two sides in which Saints were unfortunate not to take all three points. A late goal from Saffron Jordan cancelled out Katie Wilkinson’s opener.

There’s still time to grab a March bundle which gives you access to all three Women’s home games during the month for the price of two!

Not going to be able to catch all of March’s home action? We’re sorry! But you can still get your tickets just for Blackburn below:

“We were all disappointed by our most recent result, but we’ve worked hard during the week to put that behind us and look ahead to Blackburn.

“They made it hard for us at Ewood Park and we will need to be ready to overcome that in order to get any kind of result.

“It will be fantastic to be back at St Mary’s with the vocal support, and that will be a big boost for the girls on Sunday for what I know will be a competitive and entertaining encounter.”
