Southampton FC Women have been in action for their respective national teams during the break from Barclays Women’s Championship football.

Kayla Rendell, Ella Morris and Paige Peake were all part of Mo Marley’s Young Lionesses as they took on Spain and Belgium in two friendlies.

All three Saints players were unused substitutes as England U23s played out a 0-0 draw with Spain. However, Kayla Rendell did go on to make her debut, starting against Belgium at Tranmere’s Prenton Park in which the hosts came out 4-1 winners.

Megan Wynne and Alice Griffiths were both part of Wales’ team at the Pinatar Cup, with Wynne making a substitute appearance in their meeting with Scotland which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Lucia Kendall was also involved with the Young Lionesses, starting for the U19s against Germany in a 2-1 defeat, before coming on as a substitute and scoring in a 3-0 win over Switzerland.
