Southampton’s loanees all returned to league action with an unbeaten weekend for the players gaining first team experience in the EFL. This and more in this week’s Loan Watch…

In SkyBet League One, Caleb Watts played a key part in Morecambe’s 1-1 draw against Exeter City as he registered an inventive assist.

In the 34th minute, Watts delivered a cross with the outside of his boot that was met by the head of Cole Stockton to open the scoring.

The Saints B youngster played 78 minutes in the draw, whilst fellow academy star Kegs Chauke featured in Exeter’s matchday squad on the bench.

Elsewhere in League One, Dan Nlundulu played the full 90 minutes in Cheltenham Town’s 1-0 win on the road against Charlton.

The important three points saw The Robins leapfrog their opponents into 16th place in the table.

Down in the Vanarama National League, Jake Vokins came off the bench to help Woking beat Maidstone United 3-1 as their impressive form continues.

The scores were level at 1-1 when Vokins was introduced in the 59th minute, with the Cards going on to secure the win and move up to 3rd in the table.

In the National League South, goalkeeper Jack Bycroft kept a clean sheet for Taunton Town in a goalless draw against playoff-chasing Braintree Town.

Bycroft made an important stoppage-time save to preserve his clean sheet as Taunton extend their unbeaten league form to four games.

Finally, Will Tizzard also featured in the same division, continuing his development with a full 90 minutes in Chippenham Town’s narrow 2-1 defeat away to Eastbourne Borough.
