Ashleigh Ward receives New Zealand call
Southampton FC Women’s Ashleigh Ward will join up with the New Zealand squad ahead of a two game series in Christchurch.
Ward, who joined Saints during the summer window, received her first call up to the Football Ferns while working as a teacher and playing for Tier 4 side Actonians.
The defender will join up with Jitka Klimková’s side ahead of a two game series against Korea Republic on Saturday 12th November and Tuesday 15th November at 2pm and 6pm (GMT+13).
