Women's pre-season schedule confirmed
Ahead of Southampton FC Women’s debut in the Barclays Women’s Championship for the 2022/23 season, the club can confirm a number of pre-season friendlies.
Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s Saints will travel to Scotland on a pre-season tour from the 14th to 17th July, testing themselves against a Scottish Women’s Premier League side whilst they’re there.
Celtic will play host to the newly-promoted Saints on Saturday 16th July - a challenging tie for Spacey-Cale’s side with the Celts finishing third in their respective league last season.
On their return from Scotland, the side will have the opportunity to test themselves against both Women’s Championship and Super League teams across the July and August program.
Saints will travel to Charlton Athletic on Sunday 24th July, with Lewes making the journey to AFC Totton the following weekend on Sunday 31st July.
Saints will then finish their pre-season against a WSL side, taking on Leicester City away from home on Sunday 14th August.

Tickets for the Lewes home fixture will be available to purchase from next week onwards.
Information regarding supporters at away games will be released once confirmed by host club.
