Saints learn fifth round opponents
Southampton FC Women have been drawn against divisional rivals Ipswich Town in the fifth round of the Vitality Women's FA Cup, having impressively seen off Bristol City in round four.
The round of 16 tie will be hosted by Ipswich on Sunday 27th February, for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The feat matches Southampton's cup achievements from 2020/21, where they eventually bowed out to Women's Super League side Birmingham City.
They now face opponents who compete in the same tier of the women's football pyramid, having already played Ipswich twice this term (W1, L1).
