Ralph Hasenhüttl has confirmed Ché Adams will be available for selection for Southampton’s Premier League clash with Brentford on Tuesday.

Adams has completed his isolation period after returning a positive coronavirus test, while Thierry Small and Kyle Walker-Peters remain out.

“Ché Adams is available for selection and no new cases so far and hopefully it stays like this.

“Sali[su] is back after his suspension, this is a good thing. The rest had a very tough game on Saturday for 120 minutes and nearly 90 minutes with one man down, it cost energy definitely.

“We’ll find a squad that is able to compete on Tuesday night in front of our crowd.”

Hasenhüttl now faces a dilemma at right-back as Yan Valery picked up two yellow cards against Swansea in the FA Cup at the weekend, with Tino Livramento still unavailable through a knee injury.

“We are looking from day to day, the first steps in training now have shown no reaction from the knee which is good, there’s no new fluid and that gives us a little bit of hope. He’s still not in team training so we will have a look from day to day.

“We will find a solution there, like always,” he continued. “When we have two injured goalkeepers we sign another one and for the right-back position we’ll have to have a look, but we’ll find a solution.”
