WHICH KIT WILL SAINTS BE WEARING?

Saints will be wearing their red and black home kit on Saturday.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Saints claimed their first league victory of the season last Saturday as Armando Broja's goal was the difference at St Mary's against Leeds.

Burnley are yet to secure all three points in the league this season, with Sean Dyche’s side sitting 17th in the current Premier League standings.

The visitors suffered a 2-0 defeat last time out to reigning champions Manchester City.

TEAM NEWS

Ralph Hasenhüttl has confirmed that Ché Adams is back in training and available for selection on Saturday, after recovering from a muscle injury picked up on international duty with Scotland.

Jack Stephens continues to recover from a knee injury picked up at Manchester City, while James Ward-Prowse serves the second of his three-game suspension.

For the visitors, Dyche will make a late call on Ben Mee, Matej Vydra and Charlie Taylor who all missed out on the action in Manchester but are set for a return on the south coast.

THE MANAGERS

Ralph Hasenhüttl:
"I must say I changed my opinion about Burnley in the past two or three years. I think if you let them play, they can definitely do it.

"But we have also shown our qualities, especially in the last season where we beat them twice. It was the first time that we have won against them. This is the goal for the weekend."

Sean Dyche: "They have always seemed like a decent outfit. They worked hard to get their first win and our job is to take on the game and make sure that the details are right. It is certainly a game that we feel we can take on and win.”

ONES TO WATCH

Armando Broja:
With the absence of Ché Adams last weekend, Broja was given an opportunity to prove himself on the Premier League stage.

Grabbing the opportunity with both hands, the Albanian international netted the only goal of the match as Saints claimed their first league win of the season.

Dwight McNeil: The 21-year-old winger has been a mainstay in Burnley's squad since 2018 after rising through the academy ranks.

Perhaps Burnley's biggest threat, McNeil poses a particular threat from set-pieces and could look to get his first goal of the season on Saturday.
