Moussa Djenepo helped Mali to a convincing 5-0 win over Kenya as The Eagles remain unbeaten in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Named in the starting XI, the Saints winger was a standout performer as a Ibrahima Koné hat-trick and additional strikes from Adama Traoré and Moussa Doumbia kept Mohamed Magassouba’s side ahead of Uganda in group E.

Next up, Mali will head to Kenya for the reverse fixture on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Tino Livramento earned a second England Under-21 cap as the Young Lions were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with Slovenia in EURO 2023 qualifying action.

Introduced by Lee Carsley after 63 minutes, the young defender was unable to stop the hosts netting twice to restore parity, after Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer had put the visitors in the driving seat at half-time.

Livramento will remain on the road with England, travelling to take on Andorra on Monday night.
