Kendall receives young Lionesses call-up

Southampton FC Women youngster Lucia Kendall has been called-up to represent England Women's Under-19s for their upcoming European Championship games against Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Switzerland.

After an interrupted start to the season with an illness, Kendall has notched five goals in five games so far this season for Marieanne Spacey-Cale's side.

Its Kendall's first full season with the first team, having broken into the side from the RTC during the early stages of the 2020/21 campaign.

Another of Saints' youngsters, full-back Milly Mott, has been called up to the squad on standby.

Kendall will join up with the squad on Sunday 17th October, with games all to be played in Limerick, Ireland before a return to club action on Wednesday 27th October:

Republic of Ireland U19s vs England U19s, 7pm BST (Market Field) - Wednesday 20th October

England U19s vs Northern Ireland U19s, 2pm BST (Jackman Park) - Saturday 23rd October

England U19s vs Switzerland U19s, 1pm BST (Jackman Park) - Tuesday 26th October
