Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side made it six-from-six in National League Southern Premier last Sunday, seeing off London Bees 5-0 at Snows Stadium.

Sophia Pharoah opened the scoring on 17 minutes, before defender Leeta Rutherford scored her fourth of the season just three minutes shy of the break.

Lucia Kendall added a third on 50 minutes before substitues Ella Pusey and Caitlin Morris came off the bench to round off the scoring.

Keynsham Town’s start to the season has been mixed to say the least, with two wins and five defeats from their opening seven games.

Last time out saw them host a win over Chichester & Selsey, where Laura Williams’ double either side of the break secured three points.

MANAGER’S NOTES

“I was pleased in the most part last week,” said Spacey-Cale. “We dominated the ball well; we just have to tidy up at times with the ball and sometimes our decision making needs some work.

“But we got the three points, another five goals and that’s the main thing really.”

“We love having the fans here. We had a good crowd at Snows despite having the men’s game on at the same time last week.

“We have the game with Keynsham and then a game against Cardiff the week. Keynsham is a big game so I would urge people to come and support.

“The players thrive off of your support and the supporters enjoy being here I think. I’d urge people to come down, cheer us on and give us a chance to show what we can do."
