Rafferty and Watling receive Northern Ireland call-ups
Southampton FC Women duo Laura Rafferty and Ciara Watling have been called up to the Northern Ireland senior squad ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The Saints duo who both signed for the club this summer have enjoyed a successful start to their time on the south coast.
Rafferty has featured in every game and become a regular part of the defence which has conceded just once so far this season, whilst Watling has contributed five goals during Saints' 100% start to the Southern Premier campaign.
The pair will join up with the rest of the Northern Ireland squad on Sunday 12th September ahead of home fixtures against Luxembourg (17th September) and Latvia (21st September).
