Ralph Hasenhüttl wants to see more of the same from his Southampton side in the second instalment of this week’s double-header with Wolves.

After a 2-0 triumph at Molineux booked Saints’ place in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals on Thursday, the teams meet again at St Mary’s on the Premier League on Sunday.

Hasenhüttl is aware Wolves will have some well-rested players to call upon for the Premier League clash, but hopes the cup win will inspire his side to inflict another defeat on the Black Country club.

“We play against them again on Sunday,” he said. “They rested a few more players than we did, but it cannot be different.

“On Sunday, we must also push hard for getting three points back in our stadium.

“They will maybe play with a few more better players from the first-team, but we must recover well and go back with all the energy we have.

“It’s not a lot of time, but hopefully on Sunday we show up.”
