Johnson completes permanent move

Southampton Football Club can confirm that young forward Tyreke Johnson has completed a permanent move to League One club Gillingham.

Johnson, 22, has made the switch to Priestfield Stadium having initially joined on loan, making his debut in a 1-0 victory over Burton Albion last weekend.

He joins fellow Academy graduates Tom O'Connor and Callum Slattery among the Gills ranks this season, with both completing loan moves to Kent during 2020/21.

The club would like to thank Tyreke for all his hard work and dedication throughout his time here, and wish him all the very best for the future.
