Women's team earn four WSL Football Awards nominations

Southampton FC Women have received four nominations for the upcoming 2025/26 WSL Football Awards.

The Barclays Women's Super League's end of season awards night will take place on Monday 17th May in London, with members of Saints' staff and playing squad attending to celebrate a season of progress and hopefully take home awards in any of their four nominated categories.

After a double swoop of Players' and Coaches' Player of the Season in the club's internal awards, Mary Bashford is nominated in the WSL2 Rising Star category after her standout debut campaign on the south coast.

For her influential work off the pitch, club captain Atlanta Primus is nominated in the Champion of Change category following her work with Saints Foundation and her co-created Ignite Potential project.

Goalkeeper Fran Stenson is up for the Save of the Season award, with the fan-voted winner also to be revealed on the night.

Finally, off the pitch, Saints' Women & Girls Football Operations Lead, Phil Moody, has received a nomination in the Club Hero category, for his continued tireless work ensuring all aspects of the behind the scenes operations are carried out smoothly for the club's players and staff.

The winners of all the awards will be announcedduring the awards evening on Monday 17th May.
