Women's loanee Akpan returns to Chelsea
Southampton FC Women can confirm that Ashanti Akpan has been returned to Chelsea from her loan spell.
The 20-year-old midfielder heads back to her Women’s Super League parent club, after spending the first half of the season on the south coast.
Akpan arrived in August and made 15 appearances in all competitions for Saints in her time at the club.
