Under-21s to host Aston Villa in PL2 play-offs

Adam Lallana's side comfortably qualified for the post-season knockout stages for the second season in a row, and guaranteed a home tie with their sixth place finish in the league.

Last year, Saints' youngsters went all the way to the play-off final where they lost out on the national title against league phase winners Manchester City, so they will be hoping to go one better this season.

Their first knockout clash will be played on Friday 24th April, with a 7pm kick-off at Staplewood.
