Saints are unbeaten in five games in PL2, despite seeing a run of three straight victories end last time out.

Adam Asghar's side drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest last time out with Luke Pearce on the scoresheet for the third consecutive game.

As they travel to Chelsea for their penultimate fixture of the regular season, Saints know that maximum points from their remaining games will seal a play-off finish.

Results elsewhere will dictate whether Saints can still make the top-16 with any dropped points in their final matches.

Chelsea are safely in the play-off spots at the other end of the table, currently sat in fourth place in the league after a positive campaign.

They host Saints in their final regular-season game after suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat against Fulham in the Premier League Cup.

It was their first defeat in three games, as their league form has seen them suffer one loss in their last four matches.

PREVIOUS MATCH

The last meeting between the two sides came in the 2020/21 campaign, when Saints suffered defeat at Kingsmeadow.

Despite taking the lead in the second half through Kazeem Olaigbe, a quickfire response in less than 15 minutes saw Chelsea turn the tie around and seal a 3-1 victory.

Tickets for tomorrow's clash are on general sale, priced at £7 for Adults, and £5 for Juniors and Seniors.

Tickets will also be available to purchase on matchday from the Kingsmeadow ticket office two hours prior to kick-off, subject to availability.

Only card payments will be accepted at Kingsmeadow.
