This week @ St Mary's: March 25th
Check out our latest weekly round-up as we offer you a comprehensive guide of everything that's going on inside Southampton Football Club...
SAINTS CARRY WINNING RUN INTO INTERNATIONAL BREAK
Two early goals secured a third successive victory for Saints, extending the team’s unbeaten run to 14 matches in the process.
Relegation-threatened Oxford were hit by two goals in the opening 13 minutes at St Mary’s on Saturday, including a spectacular strike from distance by Shea Charles.
It means Saints, who don’t play again in the league until Tuesday 7th April, remain in the play-off places, just ahead of next opponents Wrexham on goal difference.
ST MARY’S SET FOR LEGENDS MATCH
This Saturday we’re celebrating 50 years since our historic FA Cup triumph with a Saints Legends match against Manchester United (3pm GMT).
Former favourites Matt Le Tissier, Rickie Lambert and Victor Wanyama will take on Dimitar Berbatov, Louis Saha and Wes Brown, amongst other star names, at St Mary's.
Tickets are available from just £5, so don't miss out on a unique occasion!
ARSENAL QUARTER-FINAL TICKETS ON GENERAL SALE
Saints’ next game after the break is one to relish, as Premier League leaders Arsenal visit St Mary’s on Saturday 4th April (8pm BST).
There’s a place at Wembley up for grabs as the two sides battle it out in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals.
Tickets are priced at £35 for Adults and £15 for Juniors. Supporters will need a booking history to ensure all tickets are purchased by home fans.
SAINTS SET FOR ST MARY’S OPEN TRAINING SESSION

The session will take place from 11am-12.30pm BST with entry available from 10am BST. Tickets for this event are free of charge but limited, with only 5,000 available. All seats will be in the Kingsland Stand with fans required to sit in their assigned seat on the day.

Thursday 26th March – 9.30am GMT – Saints Members
Thursday 26th March – 11.30am GMT – General sale
IRISH TRIO SET TO DISCOVER WORLD CUP FATE
It’s a huge night for Saints’ internationals on Thursday night, as Finn Azaz, Ryan Manning and Shea Charles take part in World Cup qualifying.
Azaz and Manning are in Czechia, where Republic of Ireland are in play-off semi-final action, with the winners of that tie set to host Denmark or North Macedonia in next Tuesday’s final.
Charles has an even tougher route, with Northern Ireland away to Italy in Thursday’s semi-final before a potential play-off final away to Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina should they pull off an upset in Bergamo.
WOMEN HELD AT DURHAM
Southampton FC Women were held to a goalless draw at Durham on Sunday.
Saints had the better of the chances throughout the 90 minutes, but were unable to find a way through.
Next up is a trip to Portman Road to face Ipswich on Saturday (12.30pm GMT), before a home game against Sheffield United at the Silverlake Stadium on Good Friday, 3rd April (12.30pm BST).
UNDER-21S OVERCOME LEEDS
Our Under-21s enjoyed a 2-1 home win over Leeds on Friday night to guarantee a top-eight finish in Premier League 2.
Harry Gathercole and Aston Daley scored first-half goals, meaning Saints will be certain of a home tie in the first round of the play-offs.
With only one regular season game remaining, Saints will travel to Stoke on Sunday 12th April (1pm BST) before the play-offs begin.
Our Under-18s did not feature last weekend but have been in action at Leicester on Wednesday morning.
JASON DODD JOINS EARLY DOORS
Former Saints stalwart Jason Dodd was the latest guest on episode 17 of Early Doors last week.
With 483 appearances to his name, the former defender sits sixth in Saints’ all-time list.
Discussing some of his favourite memories with the club, Dodd also looked ahead to Saturday’s Saints Legends match against Manchester United (3pm GMT).
