Southampton FC Women can confirm its retained list following the conclusion of their debut Barclays Women’s Championship season in 2022/23.
Georgie Freeland, Phoebe Williams, Ella Pusey, Beth Lumsden and Ella Hunkin will all be departing the club.
Freeland, Williams and Pusey all made 100 appearances for Saints, playing a key part in Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side’s journey to the second tier.
Lumsden departs the club after one season, where she scored twice in sixteen appearances, while Hunkin, who spent time training with the first team, moves abroad to continue her career.
Chloe Peplow also returns to parent club Reading FC after the conclusion of her loan spell.
