As we head into the summer break, take a look back at some of the best moments from our Twitter account during the 2020/21 campaign...

New season hype!

There's nothing like a montage video to get pumped for a new campaign...

A quick history lesson...

Following Gareth Bale's return to Tottenham for the 2020/21 season, Spurs had to be dealt a reminder as to where it actually all began for the 31-year-old.

Talking of homecomings...

After almost 15 years away from St Mary's, Theo Walcott returned to where it all began in October, joining on a season-long loan from Premier League rivals Everton.

And unlike Tottenham, we could claim it was where it actually started...

But with Danny Ings putting himself top of Southampton's scoring charts once again in 2020/21, it was only right to post an image of the striker that gave the credit he deserved...

Sing when you're winning!

History was made when Southampton hit the Premier League summit for the first time in November, but it was former President of the United States, Donald Trump, who provided the full-time inspiration.

Even if it was only a short-lived stint at the top...

Admin, announce Salisu!

After a barrage of tweets calling for Mohammed Salisu's signing to be announced, the day finally came in August!

But not all signing announcements go completely to plan...

After manager Ralph Hasenhüttl surprisingly announced in his post-match interview with BT Sport that Ibrahima Diallo would be joining the club, it was a swift turnaround for the media team!

Champions elect

Following the six English clubs who initially signed up to the breakaway European 'Super League' which would have seen them withdraw from the Premier League, Saints were on hand to congratulate Wolves on their belated title success...

Some anniversaries aren't to be remembered

One year on from Southampton's 9-0 loss at the hands of Leciester, there were no chances being taken...

Never change, Ralph!

Ending with an iconic moment following Saints' standout 1-0 win over Liverpool in January.
