Saints drawn at home in FA Cup third round

Alfreton, of the National League North, and Walsall of League Two face each other on Tuesday 5th December with the winners set to visit St Mary's Stadium in the new year.

Saints have progressed through the third round stage in each of the last four seasons and have never faced Alfreton in competitive action; the last meeting with Walsall came back in 2011 in League One.

The tie will take place across the weekend of January 6th and 7th, with an exact date and kick-off time to be confirmed in due course, along with ticket information.
