Ryan Finnigan departs for permanent Blackpool move
Southampton Football Club can confirm that Academy midfielder Ryan Finnigan has joined Blackpool on a permanent deal.
As a part of the transfer, Finnigan was recalled from his loan with Shrewsbury Town earlier this month to facilitate the move to fellow SkyBet League One side, Blackpool.
The 20-year-old progressed through the ranks at Southampton after joining aged nine, making his professional debut in January 2021 as a late substitute in the FA Cup against Shrewsbury.
He was a part of the 2021/22 Under-18s Premier League South title-winning team before establishing himself as an Under-21s regular and heading out on his first senior loans.
As he now departs for permanent senior football, the club wishes Ryan the best for this next stage of his career.
