New dates for south coast derby clashes
Both of Southampton’s south coast derbies against Portsmouth in the Sky Bet Championship have been moved to Sunday midday kick-offs in the 2026/27 season.
Saints will host their rivals at St Mary’s on Sunday 11th October before travelling to Fratton Park on Sunday 28th February.
Both derby fixtures were drawn last season, just as they were in Saints’ 2011/12 Championship promotion-winning campaign, meaning the last league season to produce a victor was back in 2004/05 when the teams won one league outing apiece.

Our Saturday home fixtures against Stoke, Millwall and Bristol City remain 3pm kick-offs. Hospitality is available to purchase now whilst further ticket information will be released later this month.
