Accessible Parking for away fans

Sunderland have six accessible spaces available in their Green Car Park for visiting supporters. Please email Sunderland Ticket Office ticket.office@safc.com with your request and contact details. The ticket office team will send a pass that can be used on the day - the bays are free of charge.

Alternative accessible parking or travel options to the stadium

If there are no spaces available at the Stadium of Light, we'd recommend using St Mary’s Car Park, which is a five-minute commute to the ground. Postcode for St Mary’s car park: is SR1 3AH.

Coach parking

Coaches can park outside the aquatic centre, which is right next to the Stadium of Light and away turnstiles. Sunderland stewards will direct the coach on arrival and the coach can drop supporters off outside the turnstiles.

Audio Description Service

Unfortunately, Sunderland don't offer an Audio Description Service. BBC Radio Newcastle offers regular match commentary on 95.4FM or on DAB radio.

Black Cats Bar Lift

The current away stand seats are found on the third floor at the Stadium of Light. If you have accessible requirements or you're an elderly fan who needs to use a lift to get to the seats, please visit the Black Cats Bar which is found next to the turnstiles. The Sunderland stewards will give you access to the lift - head to level three which arrives at the away end.
