West Brom currently sit nineteenth in the league on just twenty-one points and have found themselves firmly in the relegation battle.

However, after a shock victory at Stanford Bridge last time out in the league, it’s far from over for Sam Allardyce’s men.

Things have started to look up in recent weeks for Saints, whose return from the international break was also a positive one as they came back from 2-0 down to claim a vital 3-2 victory over Burnley at St Mary’s.

Saints are now 10 points clear of the relegation zone and only eight points off of the top half of the table.

A win at the Hawthorns would be a huge boost for either side.

West Brom will be without Branislav Ivanovic but Monday should see the return of Dara O’Shea.

For Saints, Ralph Hasenhüttl named Kyle Walker-Peters as the only new fitness concern after picking up a leg injury in training.

Oriol Romeu, Will Smallbone and Michael Obafemi all remain sidelined with long term injuries.

“They came back from two goals down to beat Burnley 3-2 in their last game and they’ve got a few players back from injury now so we know how tough it’s going to be.”

"I don't think that we take anything from the first game to prepare for this one. It's a new challenge for us and I'm sure there will be an opponent who is fighting for everything and taking maybe their last chance.”

Pereira had a hand in four of West Brom’s five goals against Chelsea, with two goals and two assists.

Pereira is both the lead goal scorer and has the most assists for West Brom this season and will be a massive threat vs Southampton.

Nathan Redmond has had a resurgence in recent weeks, playing a part in five goals in his last two appearances in all competitions.

Redmond netted the winner against Burnley and will be looking to make another crucial contribution at the Hawthorns.
