Saints came out on top in the reverse fixture back in October, with Armando Broja scoring the only goal at St Mary's.

Leeds will be looking to continue the form they displayed before heading into the international break, picking up wins over Wolves and Norwich City.

It’s been a turbulent season for the hosts, but they look to have turned a corner under the new leadership of Jesse Marsch.

After a disappointing March, Saints will look to boost their hopes of a top ten finish, sitting just one point adrift of ninth and tenth place Aston Villa and Leicester City.

Patrick Bamford, Jamie Shackleton and Tyler Roberts remain absent for the hosts, while Leo Hjelde has rejoined team training but will not be available for Southampton’s visit to Elland Road.

Nathan Tella and Alex McCarthy have both returned to training at Staplewood, though it’s unlikely they will feature in Saturday’s clash.

Lyanco remains a long-term absentee, but there are no fresh injury concerns for Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men.

Jesse Marsch: “Ralph is an incredible human being. That’s the first thing that needs to be said, that he is a really good person that cares about people and cares about his teams and the environments that he creates and then he’s a sharp, intelligent manager and I think he believes in a lot of the same principles and philosophies that I believe in in football.”

Ralph Hasenhüttl: “He’s an outstanding character, he’s very close to the players. It was interesting to watch his development as a coach, I think the step he made was absolutely good. It’s the right way to go.”

Luke Ayling: Netting an injury time winner against Wolves in Leeds' last league outing, Ayling continues to perform at a high level since joining the club in 2016.

Moi Elyounoussi: A mainstay in Hasenhüttl's starting XI in recent weeks, Elyounoussi returns from the international break with a man of the match performance to his name. Can he translate that into club success?
