The fixture will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event (401) and Sky Sports Premier League (402) for subscription holders.

Saints will be wearing their red home strip with white trim for the trip to Merseyside.

Saints are chasing just a second three points of 2021 and will be looking to put their ever-growing injury list aside with a morale-boosting win at Goodison Park.

Facing an Everton side who have struggled for form at home, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side will hope to rediscover their early season form on the road.

For the hosts, they’ll be looking to build on a noteworthy Merseyside derby win last time out, with victory capable of lifting them above Liverpool in the table.

The injury woes keep coming for Ralph Hasenhüttl, with Oriol Romeu ruled out for the remainder of the season with a fractured ankle picked up at Leeds in midweek.

Takumi Minamino will also miss Monday’s clash, having picked up a small hamstring problem at Elland Road.

The duo join a lengthy list of absentees with Ibrahima Diallo, Theo Walcott, Kyle Walker-Peters, Michael Obafemi and Will Smallbone also ruled out.

For Everton, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Allan are fit and available, although Yerry Mina will remain sidelined.

THE MANAGERS

Ralph Hasenhüttl: "We are not in the best shape – that is the difference. We are not with the best team on the pitch, but we still believe in what we are doing.

"We must find the right tactic and the right behaviour to get something there."

Carlo Ancelotti: "In my opinion we don't have to look at the table, we have to play game by game and see where we are at the end of the season.

“We have to work hard because it will not be easy, but I think we can compete until the end."

The Brazilian comes into Monday night’s meeting in imperious form, having starred in the Merseyside derby win over Liverpool last time out.

With three goals in his last four outings, the lively attacker will need to be closely monitored.

As the only fit senior central midfielder, Saints will need a captain’s performance at Goodison Park.

Whoever he is paired with in the middle of the park, Ward-Prowse will have to be at his best to nullify the threats posed by the Toffees.
