Charles up for EFL Goal of the Season
Shea Charles’s stunning long-range strike against Oxford United in March has been shortlisted for EFL Goal of the Season.
Running onto Cameron Archer's cutback from a short corner, the Northern Ireland international sent a first-time strike from 35 yards into the top corner to help Saints on their way to victory over the U's.
Already picking up the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for March, the spectacular strike is now up against the best of the rest from across the Football League.
Also nominated are Josh Tymon (Swansea City), Abdul Fatawu (Leicester City), Dylan Lawlor (Cardiff City) and Reyes Cleary (Barnsley).
Saints' next home match sees us take on Bristol City at St Mary's on Tuesday 21st April (7.45pm BST). Tickets are on general sale now, starting from £25 for Adults and £15 for Juniors.
