Southampton Football Club and Saints Foundation are proud to recognise Cameron Bragg and Atlanta Primus as this year’s PFA Community Captains, celebrating their outstanding commitment to creating positive change across Southampton.

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Community Champion initiative highlights players across the football pyramid who dedicate their time to supporting community programmes and inspiring others away from the pitch.

This season, both Cameron Bragg and Women’s First Team captain Atlanta Primus have gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact.

Cameron Bragg recognised for season-long commitment

Bragg has been named Southampton FC and Saints Foundation’s PFA Community Champion for the 2025/26 season, following a year of meaningful engagement with our work. Throughout the campaign, the young midfielder has demonstrated genuine enthusiasm and a clear passion for community impact. From school visits to Foundation events, Bragg has consistently connected with participants, showing a deep understanding of the importance of using football as a force for good.

A recent school visit saw him engage brilliantly with young people, while his presence at our Charity Dinner further underlined his commitment, as he supported guests and contributed to a highly successful evening.

Bragg has also expressed a strong desire to further understand the Foundation’s work across Southampton and use his platform to inspire the next generation. His proactive approach, humility and dedication have made him a deserving recipient of this year’s honour.

Atlanta Primus leading change for the next generation

Alongside Bragg, Atlanta Primus is recognised as a PFA Community Captain for her exceptional contribution to our work, particularly in advancing opportunities for young women and girls. Primus has played a leading role in the development of Ignite Potential, a Saints Foundation project designed to support girls aged 11–16 who face barriers to opportunity. The programme focuses on building confidence, leadership skills and future pathways for participants across the city. The project was born out of Primus’ own initiative. After learning about the Foundation’s work at the start of the season, she proactively approached staff with the idea, working in collaboration with former Saints captains Rosie Parnell, Shannon Sievwright and Kirsty Whitton to bring it to life.

Thanks to her leadership and advocacy, the programme secured £25,000 in funding from the PFA and Premier League, enabling its launch and early success. Primus has remained closely involved throughout, meeting participants and offering ongoing support to ensure every young person feels seen, valued and inspired. She also represented the Club and the Foundation at our recent Charity Dinner, where she spoke passionately about the importance of creating opportunities and empowering the next generation.

Proud to be Saints on and off the pitch

The recognition of both Bragg and Primus reflects our continued commitment to driving positive change in the local community through our work in Southampton. Their contributions embody the values of the Club, demonstrating how players can use their influence to inspire, uplift and create lasting impact beyond the game. As PFA Community Captains, both players stand as role models within Southampton, showing what it truly means to be Saints both on and off the pitch.
