Papa John’s Trophy
The Valley
Tuesday 5th October, 7pm BST
Saints came from behind to secure a point against Stoke at Staplewood on Friday through a Kazeem Olaigbe goal.
For the first time since their Papa John’s Trophy win over Crawley Town, Charlton claimed a 2-1 victory over Fleetwood on Saturday.
Charlton sit top of Group O after knocking six past Crawley in their league opener, while Saints sit third after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient.
Victory at Charlton would provide a huge boost for Dave Horseman’s men as they look to climb up the group.

“This will be a really tough one. I think they beat Crawley 6-1 in the first game so we’re really looking forward to it.
“We lose Kaz, he’s going away with Belgium Under-19s but we get Caleb back from suspension.
“There might be a nice little treat for a first-team player returning for maybe 45 minutes so it’s just a really good game, a good occasion.
“The boys again, for the last time for a little while will play their eighth game in three and a half weeks.
“We’ve played a game every three days for a while and I think its been a really good experience on how to look after themselves.
“If we do it right and keep doing the things we’re doing we’ve got a chance of picking up points against anybody so we’ll go into it in a very confident mood.”
