Saints are in good form in 2023 with four wins and just one defeat since the turn of the new year.

They made their return to league action last week with an impressive 4-2 victory on the road against Aston Villa, thanks to goals from Joe Andrews and Will Merry either side of a Tommy-Lee Higgs brace.

The positive start to the new year has seen the side move up the league table into 10th place, with games in hand on teams above them, as well as their much-celebrated progression into the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals.

Spurs have made an unbeaten start to the new year with two wins and a draw in all competitions

In the league, they saw off Aston Villa with a comfortable 3-0 win before drawing 2-2 in a London derby against Chelsea.

In their most recent outing, they beat Manchester City 1-0 in the U18 Premier League Cup thanks to an own goal in first half stoppage time.

The two sides are yet to play each other this season, but last campaign saw one win apiece in their league meetings.

Spurs picked up three points at Staplewood in January, but before that Saints ran out 3-0 winners in November with goals from Fedel Ross-Lang, Jimmy-Jay Morgan, and Tyler Dibling.
