WHICH KIT WILL SAINTS BE WEARING?

Saints will be wearing their white and red home shirt with black shorts.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Two sides that are struggling to find form in the league, three points could prove crucial for either team at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

It’s been a difficult run for Graham Potter’s men, who suffered midweek defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League after drawing in their last three Premier League outings.

Saints will be led by Rubén Sellés on Saturday’s trip to the capital, as they go in search of their first league victory since Everton in January.

Despite taking the lead early on against Wolves last time out, Saints were ultimately undone at St Mary’s as they remain bottom of the Premier League table.

It was Saints who emerged victorious in the reverse fixture, coming from behind to secure a 2-1 win in front of a home crowd.

TEAM NEWS

The hosts will be without N'Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Edouard Mendy and former Saint Armando Broja.

Rubén Sellés has confirmed Ché Adams is a doubt for the match, with Tino Livramento and Juan Larios the only other long-term absentees.

THE MANAGERS

Graham Potter:
"Anything can come at you because they have a caretaker manager and a week to prepare. We have no reference, that's the challenge. I think there's a big challenge coming our way."

Rubén Sellés:
"Rubén Sellés quote graphic: "I think this group is amazing. Our target tomorrow is to show our identity, be a unit and make the game as hard as possible for Chelsea."

ONES TO WATCH

Enzo Fernández: Named young player of the tournament at the recent FIFA World Cup, the Argentine has yet to fully make his mark in a Chelsea shirt since arriving at the end of January and will no doubt be eager to kick-start his goal tally for the West London outfit.

Charly Alcaraz:
A fellow Argentine and another January acquisition, Alcaraz netted his first goal for Southampton last time out at St Mary’s and continues to bolster Saints’ midfield ranks.
