Gavin Bazunu has been included in a shortlist for the Premier League’s Save of the Month award.

With this month’s accolade taking into account performances either side of the World Cup, the Saints stopper has been recognised for a stop against Liverpool in November.

In action at Anfield, the Republic of Ireland international sprung across goal to deny Mohamed Salah at point-blank range, following Darwin Núñez’s low cross from the left.

Also nominated is Łukasz Fabiański (West Ham), Alisson Becker (Liverpool), David De Gea (Man United), Marc Travers (Bournemouth) and José Sá (Wolves).

Voting closes at midday on Monday 9th January with the winner announced on Friday 13th January.
