200 of Southampton’s over 60s join us to exercise and socialise for free every single week. At a time when pockets are tight and many older people will face difficult decisions about their money, this support is vital for their wellbeing. Over 10% of households in our city are aged over 65s and living alone – our sessions are truly needed to keep people independent and connected to their community.
