Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has been added to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming internationals.

The 34-year-old earned the last of his six senior caps in 2016, but injuries to Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone have seen the experienced stopper rewarded for his impressive club form this season.

Forster joins Saints teammates James Ward-Prowse and Kyle Walker-Peters in the squad for the Wembley friendlies against Switzerland on Saturday 26th March and Ivory Coast on Tuesday 29th March.
