Saints are looking to progress to the quarter finals of the Emirates FA Cup when they welcome West Ham to St Mary’s tomorrow, with lots going on around the 7.30pm kick-off.
Supporters heading to the game are advised to check their travel plans ahead of setting off with disruption expected due to planned closures on the M3 after the game – you can visit the National Highways website for more information.
The club is aware that some of our fans experienced disorderly behaviour at St Mary’s during recent matches. It is very important that everyone coming to a match feels safe and the club will issue long-term bans to anyone who engages in this type of behaviour.
If you witness any form of anti-social, abusive or discriminatory behaviour, crime, violence or the use of pyrotechnics, please report it to your nearest steward or police officer. Alternatively, text SFCReport to 60060 with a full description and location of the incident, giving as much detail as you can.
Please be aware that all bags will be searched on entry to St Mary’s, so only bring an A4-sized bag if you need to.
Fans are advised to arrive to the ground early, to give ample time to get through security checks, turnstiles and make their way to their seat.
Southampton Football Club would like to thank fans for their support in following Covid-19 measures and helping to keep their fellow fans safe.
In line with the latest government guidance, NHS COVID passes will now no longer be enforced as a condition of entry to a Premier League match with supporters also not required to pre-register their Covid-19 status ahead of attending matches at St Mary’s.
Everyone still has an important role to play in minimising the risk of passing on Covid-19 and we want St Mary’s to remain safe for fans to enjoy.
There are some simple ways fans can help keep each other safe on a matchday:
- Please do not travel if you have Covid-19 symptoms
- Wear a face covering when indoors or in crowded areas
- Don’t forget to wash your hands regularly
- If possible, take a Covid-19 test on a matchday to check there is no risk of passing on the virus
- The best way to protect yourself and others from Covid-19 is to get vaccinated
Sammy and Mary Saint will be meeting fans and posing for photographs in our Mascot Zone, located on the corner of the Kingsland and Chapel stands.
Saints Brass are bringing the party atmosphere and providing your matchday soundtrack, playing family favourites ahead of the game - don’t miss their pre-match rendition of Oh When The Saints.
The Fanzone will be closed for fixtures until further notice – the club will provide an update when it is able to.
Get kitted out with the full range of merchandise available to buy at the Saints Store, opening from 10am until kick-off. Remember that all Season Ticket holders get 10 per cent off merchandise from the Saints Store too.
Fans with car parking at the stadium are advised that there will be no vehicle movement permitted in the car parks or within the road closure area from one hour ahead of kick-off, and until the crowd is cleared from the stadium.
HUMMEL RETAIL BOOTHS
You can now pick up official Saints merchandise from hummel retail booths situated in the concourse of the Kingsland, Northam and Chapel stands – remember, Season Ticket holders get 10 per cent off!
Please be aware that St Mary’s is now a cashless stadium so make sure you bring an alternative payment method for any purchases at the stadium on matchdays.
This season you’ll find reusable pint cups in the St Mary's concourses and the Fanzone in a bid to reduce single-use plastics - when you’ve finished with yours, please place it inside so they can be collected after each match, washed thoroughly and recirculated.
Please be aware that half-time entertainment is currently restricted by the requirement to maintain a Red Zone to keep players safe.
Stay at your seats for half-time with Saints t-shirts being fired into the crowd in the Kingsland South stand!
