Both sides secured their progression to the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, with Harry Kane securing a brace for the hosts in their 3-1 victory over Brighton.

A Stuart Armstrong wonder strike alongside an extra time goal from Kyle Walker-Peters meant Saints overcame Championship opposition Coventry at St Mary’s.

Spurs suffered a different fate in their last league outing, though, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.

With Southampton securing a valuable point at home to league leaders Manchester City last time out in the league, they could reach as high as tenth with victory in the capital

Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga are likely to miss out for the hosts, while Eric Dier continues to remain a doubt despite nearing a return.

It’s disappointing news for Saints, who will be without Lyanco for at least eight weeks as he recovers from a hamstring injury picked up against Coventry.

Nathan Tella continues to recover from a groin injury, with Hasenhüttl hopeful he will be back in training next week.

To follow.

"We have not such a good record, but this season we managed to break a few negative records in grounds."

Enjoying four years at Southampton and making 109 appearances for the club, the Dane is a vital figure in midfield for the North London outfit and will spare no niceties when facing his former club.

Firing home a sublime strike in Saints' Emirates FA Cup victory over Coventry, Armstrong will be hoping this will be a sign of him returning to his best after a season plagued by injury.
