Ralph Hasenhüttl highlighted the reliability of young forward Armando Broja, as he looks to continue his fruitful run in the side.

Boxing Day's meeting with West Ham gives an opportunity to cast minds back to the last meeting between the two sides, when Broja came off the bench for his second appearance in front of the Saints faithful.

The Albanian certainly made an impact, unlucky not to score during his 16 minute cameo which saw the forward hit the post and have a header cleared off the line.

What followed has been more of the same in terms of attacking positivity, with four goals from six starts making him the most clinical of any player under the age of 20 in the Premier League this season.

"I remember when he was coming on that he had a few good chances in this game," recalled the boss.

"He is good as a sub and he has also shown in the past that he can start. He's got four goals after starting so good, good average to be honest.

"He grabbed a chance because of Ché's injury. He was there and he did everything to help him get a chance again.

"This is what you have to do as a young player."
