Date confirmed for third round tie
Southampton will begin their Emirates FA Cup campaign at Swansea City on Saturday 8th January 2022 at 5.30pm GMT, it has been confirmed.
Saints, who visited the Swans in pre-season and recorded a 3-1 win, will take on Russell Martin's side in the first competitive meeting since May 2018, when Manolo Gabbiadini netted an iconic winner in the Premier League.
With Ralph Hasenhüttl looking to emulate last season's run to the semi-finals, the third round tie will be broadcast live by BBC Wales, with ticket details to follow in due course.
