Carl Martin's Under-18s side will make their first steps in the competition on Thursday, hosting a Sheffield Wednesday side who have already progressed past Aylestone Park 2-1 to reach the third round.
Last season saw an entertaining 3-0 win for Saints at this stage, as goals from Kazeem Olaigbe, Sam Bellis and Kegs Chauke secured victory over Coventry City at St Mary's Stadium.
