Four Southampton FC Women's players will be away with their countries this month, including a return to the New Zealand side for striker Katie Rood.

Rood, one of Marieanne Spacey-Cale's summer signings, has been rewarded for a positive return from injury at the start of the season with a place in the latest Football Ferns squad.

The striker will travel to Asia and face Korea Republic in two friendly matches on November 27th and 30th, having started her trip on Friday.

Elsewhere there have been more Young Lionesses call-ups for Lucia Kendall and Milly Mott ahead of England Women's Under-19's Professional Development Phase Training Camp.

The pair will travel to be with their national side at St George's Park on 27th November before returning on the 30th.

Finally there's been another Northern Ireland call-up for Ciara Watling as they continue preparations for this summer's EURO fixtures.

Watling and the Green and White Army will face North Macedonia away and then at home on the 25th and 29th November respectively.
