Spurs lost their opening three games in the league but have turned things around in recent weeks.

The hosts claimed a 2-1 victory over Brighton last time out in the league, with Renaldo Torraj and Rio Kyerematen on the scoresheet.

Saints currently sit second in the Under-18 Premier League table having secured 19 points from a possible 21.

After securing an impressive 6-3 victory over Aston Villa last time out, Carl Martin’s side will be looking to make it five wins on the bounce at Tottenham Hotspur training centre on Saturday.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Saints’ Under-18s have claimed just one point in their last ten matches against Spurs.

Spurs claimed a 3-0 victory when they visited Staplewood back in February, while they netted seven at home in November 2020.

Saints will look to break the rut on Saturday and pick up all three points on the road, continuing their their unbeaten start in the league.

MANAGER’S THOUGHTS

"It's obviously going to be a really difficult game," said Individual Player Coach Mikey Harris. "But we're looking forward to it, the boys have been in really good form.

"It's another challenge for them to try and build on the momentum they've created in the past few weeks.

"We're very much based around the principles of how we want to play and the identity of the football club and from our perspective we're just trying to help the boys evolve in that area.

"Each challenge, regardless of who we're playing, is another opportunity to see how the boys are doing with that and how they're progressing. We're looking forward to the challenge."
