WHICH KIT WILL SAINTS BE WEARING?

Saints will be wearing their red and white home kit on Saturday.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Norwich picked up their first win of the season last time out when they travelled to Brentford, but it wasn't enough for Daniel Farke to remain in position.

Instead, it’s a big day for Dean Smith who takes charge of his first match on Saturday, lining up against Saints for the second successive match having lost out to Ralph Hasenhüttl's side while Aston Villa manager before the international break.

With the hosts making a change at the helm, there's been no such issue for the visitors who head to Carrow Road on an impressive run of form.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men will be going in search of their third consecutive win in the league at Carrow Road.

Currently sitting 13th in the Premier League table, Saints are just three points off of sixth place Manchester United.

TEAM NEWS

Saints head to Norwich with only Jack Stephens unavailable due to injury.

James Ward-Prowse, Tino Livramento and Armando Broja are all fit to feature despite leaving their respective international duties early, while Nathan Redmond is available after recovering from Covid-19.

Dean Smith will reveal his side's injury news on Friday.

THE MANAGERS

Dean Smith: To follow.

Ralph Hasenhüttl: "It’s always difficult when the opponent changes manager and you don’t have the information that you have normally."

"We’re preparing for our game to be tactically as flexible as possible. We have been this in the past and I think this makes more sense than to concentrate on any shape or particular habits from the opponent because you don’t know what you get."

: The Norwegian made a huge impression when he netted his first Norwich goal after just six minutes in the Canaries' 2-1 victory over Brentford last time out.

The 25-year-old netted in both of Scotland's World Cup qualifiers over the international break, helping them secure a play-off place for Qatar.

DID YOU KNOW?
- Of the 120 players to have made at least 100 off the ball runs in the Premier League this season, Southampton’s Mohamed Elyounoussi has made the highest share of them into the box (42.2% - 76/180).

- Southampton have won three of their last four Premier League games (D1), as many as they had in their previous 18 in the competition (D5 L10). Saints are looking to secure three consecutive league wins for the first time since November 2020, a run which briefly took them to the top of the table.

- Southampton have lost just two of their last 15 matches against Norwich in all competitions (W7 D6), winning their last three in a row; they last won four consecutively against the Canaries between 1956 and 1958.
