Teenage full-back Tino Livramento has received a nomination for October's Premier League Player of the Month following a string of standout performances for Southampton.

His energy and dynamism have caught the eye of many since his summer switch from Chelsea, not least Ralph Hasenhüttl, who has entrusted the 18-year-old with the right full-back position since the beginning of the season.

Having never played a minute in the top flight prior to 2021/22, the defender has shone since being handed his chance, including scoring his first senior goal against Burnley in a 2-2 draw.

Starting all 10 of Saints' league fixtures thus far, Tino is among the league's top performers for tackles made, but plays his part equally well in the attacking third, needing little invitation to motor forward down the right.

Joining Tino on the shortlist is Ben Chilwell (Chelsea), Maxwell Cornet (Burnley), Phil Foden (Man City), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Declan Rice (West Ham), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Youri Tielemans (Leicester City).
