We’re delighted that Barratt & David Wilson Homes have again named us as their Charity of the Year, starting with a hugely generous £10,000 donation to support sessions like SaintsAbility.

Staff from Barratt & David Wilson Homes joined us at a SaintsAbility session earlier this week, allowing them to see the project’s impact first-hand.

SaintsAbility provides regular football and life skills sessions for disabled young people and adults, giving them the opportunity to socialise and the confidence to lead more independent lives.

Barratt David Wilson Homes will continue to fundraise for us over the coming year. Their donations will help us continue our support for the wide variety of our projects, which are hugely important for people of all ages and abilities in the community as we recover from the pandemic.

Glen O’Nion, Finance Director Barratt & David Wilson Homes Southampton, said: “We are delighted to support this incredibly worthwhile project, and to be able to actually come and see the work first-hand has been fantastic.

“We look forward to our continued support of Saints Foundation in the coming year.”

Jazz Bhatti, Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at Saints Foundation, said: “A huge thank you to Barratt & David Wilson Homes for naming us as their Charity of the Year once again.

“The pandemic has been particularly hard for people with disabilities, with many shielding for their health, isolated from friends and loved ones for huge periods of time.

“SaintsAbility sessions are incredibly important for their physical and emotional wellbeing as we all recover from this difficult time, so this donation will make a truly huge difference. Thank you.”
